These highlighted caricatures are a variety of famous figures, characters, and people in my life. Some are done with just a ballpoint pen and some with colored pencil as well. I started in pencil, then moved to using a ballpoint pen/felt pen, and finally a combination of color and pen. Featured in a few of the pieces are digital color that I decided to add. The splash of color and “black and white” illustrations have their own impact on the feel of the piece.
